We are NOT venturing outside today! First it was freezing rain, then heavy downpours, then ice falling off the roof at 3am! Now everything is frozen again (~1" of ice,) its snowing, and 30mph winds. The boy and I have been battling a head cold since Saturday so thanks, but no thanks, Mr. Winter. Instead, we'll drool over some yummy fabrics! The above stack is from Sew Fresh Fabrics and Hawthorne Threads. Delicious! I have no plans for any of them except I suppose the dots will become binding for a quilt.
And last but not least, a fun little stack gifted by my older sister... from a cute little shop in Georgia called Fabrika! The bicycles are my favorite! Too fun!
So have you been reading the series The Art of Choosing by a great blog called In Color Order?
Jeni is doing a series of posts about how to organize/fold/display/store/buy fabric!!! I don't know about you, but I need some advice! My fabric stash is on the verge of out of hand! I think I need to arrange by color... but what does THAT really mean? Well go check out her blog, you will not be disappointed!

Love those fabrics..so fresh and cute without being cutesy. I'm off to check out the blog you suggested. We could all use a little help organizing the monster stash.
Cristin! I totally went to Fabrika when I was at the Savannah Music Festival this past Spring. They were so nice and their fabrics were awesome! The store was so neat even my non-sewing friends got a kick out of looking around. And of course had to hold my wallet for me so I would not go fabric crazy!
ahhhh! Gorgeous stash. That little owl print in the bottom photo is one of my favorites for kid's clothes and blankets. I have it in a couple of colorways. Have fun!
I love your fabric choices. We have such similar taste in fabrics yet I never seem to get any of these wonderful ones you have! I want them all, I just never buy them! I love the Circa 50 and I'm FOR SURE buying the Beach Mod Circa 60 when yardage is available. So in the meantime, I'll just drool over all your fabrics and wish they were mine!
I love your work... and I love your blog entry... I am kind of new to quilting but enjoys it very much...
With that very enticing line up of fabrics, it looks like being snowed in could be a very handy thing!! Lots of pretty things to play with.
