What are you going on about?

I've been wanting to make one of these Mug Rugs for a while now!
A few days ago I said ok, lets just whip one up and see how long it takes.
Thirty minutes later I said "ta-da" and husband goes "What's this mug rug thing you keep going on about?"
So I tried to explain it as a big coaster that holds a coffee cup AND toast... a soft washable plate... a mini quilt you use as cup holder AND napkin combined.

I don't think he gets it, and that's fine. He's a guy. Linux, he gets. Mug rugs, not so much.

Super cute Cristin!! I sure hope you didn't whip this up, just b/c I asked if you had any?!?! I made one so far - and am working on another for the meeting Thursday. I think I'm seriously addicted.

haha. I can relate to this too. He does come in handy when it comes to techy blog-related stuff though!

Cristin, I think our husbands are so similar. I made my first mug rug last weekend (to be blogged about tonight) and my husband thought that I was ridiculous. Then I brought it into work and my coworkers had a real go at me for it. No one gets us!

The mug rug is great, they ARE addicting and your's looks fantastic!

super cute! i like these mug rugs because you can patchwork and quilt without making something big and time consuming. 30 minutes is my kind of craft!
