More of Baby Eli

Grammy (my mom) holding Eli, about 12 hours old

Auntie Jess holding Eli, about 10 hours old. Crocheted elf hat is a tad large, but CUTE!

Eli arrives home!

I know, I know... Hazel is missing! She doesn't really care much about Eli, but she's always close to Justin or me. She can't seem to figure out why we brought home such a time-consuming, and sometimes loud little person. ;-)

I bet you sit and stare at him! Can you believe you made that cutie! Life is sure somthun'!
darlin boy!

Doggie will have some serious adjusting to do... When B came home our dalmatian was 8 years old... Never took to B... that dog would sneak into her room and steal toys and chew them to bits... And wouldn't you know it, but B's first word was "DOG!" well, "GOG" anyway, as she pointed at the dog...
;-) LOL!

Pure sweetness!!!!
It is always so funny the way the older sibling acts in the beginning. After about two weeks of my third son being home, my second son came to me and very seriously asked me "Mommy, when is the baby going home?". It took him a little to while to understand that the baby was ours to keep!! Now they are thick as thieves (when they aren't fighting over some particular object or opinion, that is).

Oh that little elf hat :), too cute! I also got all mushy when I saw the last two photos, my now 2 year old loved being swaddled. I have so many photos of him just like yours, I miss those sweet days, enjoy!

He looks so perfect sleeping all swaddled on the chair where you took all your week such and such photos with him swaddled inside of you!

I really like the swaddling blanket. Did you make it? If so, is it two pieces of flannel?

Enjoy all the new baby goodness!

Eli is beautiful! I called my Nagymama (Hungarian Grandmother) "Grammy" too and now my kids are having kids and they are calling me Grammy. Love your grey and green quilt.
