For Baby On-The-Go

From the Retro Mod collection called {Groovy Guitars in Lagoon}

Another sewing project to cross off my list! Thanks to Hannah's wonderful tutorial, it was a breeze to whip up! And take note: its a car seat CANOPY, not a tent :-)

Solid Kona in Cactus

Folded back for when baby wants to see the world and get his or her chubby cheeks pinched by your hairdresser, lady behind you at the grocery store, or gym pals. I used Kona Cotton for the reverse side since my boy will be a summertime baby... no need for flannel or fleece. Also doubles as a play mat while out and about! Adorable, no?

Nice! I was just thinking about you today, I was wondering if you had your little boy yet. I know you're getting close! :)

Very cute! I love that print; how fun!

I wish I'd thought of this years ago when my daughter was little. I just used a receiving blanket, but this is so much cuter!

This is so much better than throwing a blanket over the car seat that the wind blows off. Thanks for the link.

what a great idea! and perfect for rainy or windy weather too.

a tip about the infant car seats - our doctor told us with our twins to ALWAYS tuck the long adjustable strap up in there with them. between legs, shoved up under legs, anywhere EXCEPT left hanging and dragging the dirty ground! b/c one of these days even if it's been left hanging for all those months they will discover it and play with it and CHEW on it...

I see so many kids now that I know about this and sadly it's too late to tell the tip to the parents b/c they've gone so long with it dragging anyway. so hope this helps.

I can't believe you only have 4 weeks to go - the time has flown by watching your baby bump g-r-o-w ;) You look great!

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
