38 Weeks!

In just a few weeks (give or take) I'll be losing this belly and gaining a son! My due date is March 30th, I can hardly believe its almost here! Today was my last day of full-time employment so now my plans are to relax, take care of some last minute details, and SEW to my hearts content... or as long as my poor swollen feet will allow. (I look like I belong in the Shire!)

I'm still working on squaring up these blocks to 20" then I hope to have the time to at least turn them into a finished quilt top. Basting and quilting... ummm... we'll see! I'd be extremely happy if I could finish it.... but I know thats not necessarily realistic.

And after I was done taking the belly shot - Hazel kept sitting there so I took advantage of the moment~ Cheers!

You look great! Any day now...
PS Just a fair warning, but the foot swelling can actually be worse after you deliver. It does go away though, in a few days or a few weeks as your body starts to lose all those extra fluids (you sweat a lot too.) Just letting a girl know.

eek! I'm so excited for you - I just commented on an earlier post and said only 4 more weeks to go.. but now realize that you are looking at just another ONE week.

I know Hazel your "babydog" will love her new brother and is anxious to meet him!

I hope you and your husband take similar monthly shots of the baby sitting in the chair and post. I did that with my first child and it was neat to see all 12 photos together of her first year.

Wish I had done it for my twins. :/ but was too overwhelmed with breastfeeding and no sleep to even remember it. :P

Good luck to you and best wishes for enjoying as many days as you feel like sewing and nesting between now and the big arrival!!!

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
