Here's what on my crochet hook:

4/5 of the way done... just a few more rows then some trim...

Shocker I know - a blue baby blanket! The entire thing is made from front post and back post double crochet stitches - more explanation here as to why I love it so much.
I timed how long it takes to do one row....
15 minutes.
But well worth it in my opinion - it is SO SOFT!
So what's on your hook? (Or needles, or sewing machine?)

that is BEAUTIFUL! I love the stitches. I am working on crocheting chemo caps to donate to the cancer center that my sis goes to. I will be having a post about it soon.
Is this for your little guy? It looks soft! Love the stitch. On my hooks is a granny square for an afghan for my little guy.
That is a cute blanket! I love the FPdc & BPdc as well. But I've never done this pattern that you are doing. What are you doing? 1 fpdc and then a bpdc? I've made a couple baby blankets doing 3 fpdc and then 3 bpdc for 2 rows then do the opposite for the next 2 rows and it turns out like a basket weave. Super cute! one of my favorites, but it is way more time consuming! I actually grabbed my project to work on tonight a bit. I'm making a baby blanket, as well. Simple pattern, but one of my favorites because it works up so fast. one single crochet 2 doubles in the same chain; skip 2 chains one single 2 doubles and so on.
Looking forward to seeing this all finished!
i love a soft baby blanket!!! right now i have a hat, tha ti am not thrilled with, on the crochet hook and a quilt i just finished machine quilting just came off the machine.
Your blanket's gorgeous. I love the pattern front and back post makes.
What's on my hooks? I have about 3 hats started, 2 blankets, a funky snuggy baby thing I started as an experiment and 2 neck warmers.... Maybe someone needs to stop sewing and start crocheting?
What a pretty color! Your stitches are beautiful. You will have to check out my post today to see the knitted baby blanket I am working on crocheting the edges.
This does look super soft! I just went to a new yarn shop in town and walked out with some hand-dyed yarn to make a scarf - what sold me was the softness of it - now if I can only stop sewing maybe I can get this scarf knitted before winter is over! :)
talented lady!

Sandra,
I've seen quite a few on Etsy.com... or even just strolling thru Joanns, and picking up a (modern) baby crochet book. I haven't tried to make any myself... but might in the future! Cheers!
That's gorgeous. Such a lovely way to spend your time before the baby comes! Im super slow at crochet, I do find it very relaxing though! well done again! x Lilly
