A Boy! I suspected a boy for the past 4 months, but now that its actually true, I'm still getting used to the idea! I always pictured myself with a girl, but now I'm thinking a boy will be fun too!
The above t-shirt was given to me last night by my SIL, Auntie Jess - too cute eh? It will hopefully fit him next fall/winter, its a 6-12 mo size. We made the announcement to our family last night at the annual Bonfire - and everyone seems to be pleased with a boy... although they're just pleased in general with all the babies that have been and will be added to our family. Great Grandpa and Grandpa didn't seem too upset about the news :-)

Here's one of the 3D ultrasound pics taken on 10/27 at 18 weeks... he already looks like Justin to me! Crazy!
(Amy Butler's Full Moon Polka Dots, Erin McMorris' Park Slope, Joel Dewberry's Aviary, Heather Ross's Lightening Bugs)Last but not least - my Final Answer on the fabric conundrum! Well, mostly. I'm definitely going with these four prints.... I love them all and I can't wait to start the crib size quilt, and about 2 dozen other sewing projects I have in mind for baby. BUT Cheryl over at
The Naptime Quilter made a suggestion about adding a larger scale print - which I really think is a good idea. I have nothing in mind - so if you know of any larger prints that would add to this selection, don't hesitate to comment here or email me! I'm open for suggestions!!! Birds... owls... graphic prints - something!? Modern, Fun, and Neutral are my only goals here!

Yay! Congratulations!!! I always picture myself with a girl too (I have 2 sisters) but I feel like my first will be a boy. Either way, if they're healthy, who cares!
I love your fabric choices... especially the Erin McMorris one! Can't wait to see what you end up making :)
Congrats! Take a look at some of the Red Letter Day fabrics-- the Walk in the Woods Tree fabric in Pond is one I have and really like and is in a bit of a larger scale. It would work with the fabrics you've picked out already.
Fabricworm carries the collection still.
That Tee is adorable but the first baby picture is priceless. Looks like he has the right idea with that thumb. Congratulations to you and all your family.
Oh BOY!!! Red letter day fabric has some great ducks in orange or yellow or white. They are a larger print. I love your fabric choices, and look forward to seeing the nursery all decorated.
What a neat first picture! There are some very nice boy options and you've got a nice start.

Oh my goodness, I had no idea babies are that developed at 18 months. I'm amazed!
Congrats... Yipeeeeee
You will be a great mom to a boy. Yes, he does look like Justin so far...maybe it's he hair...
Oh CONGATULATIONS! I have one of each so I feel I can comment. The mother/son connection is a very special thing, enjoy your little man when he arrives!
I thought I would have a girl, but was blessed with boys, and they are SOOO precious. They love their Mama, and are just too cute (girls are cute too, but I am biased now). I am a lover of the color blue, so boys suited me quite well! Congrats on the new little man!
Congratulations!! You will love having a boy. My second is a boy and I was nervous after having a girl, but little boys just love their mamas and are so sweet. You will love being the queen of the castle. :)
Congratulations! I hope that you have a healthy, bouncing baby boy!
OH Congratulations!!! I think it is great that you are having another little boy... ever boy needs a brother don't you think? ;) I know you are excited ;)
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Oh what happiness! Best wishes for an easy delivery.
That's a great 3D picture for being so early! How exciting that you found out what you're having!
Do you have a name picked out yet?
Congrats! What wonderful news! Best wishes for a healthy and happy baby boy!
I was thinking it might be a boy - don't ask me why. :) Congrats! ...and get ready for the basket ball belly. I think you already look like he will be all out front for you. I think they are the sweetest of pregnant bellies.
congratulations to you both, I have 2 beautiful boys and then a girl. I always wanted boys first so if I had a girl they could look out for her.
That's great news! Congrats and blessings on the winter pregnancy. ;-)
