21 Weeks... + first nursery goody + progress

21 weeks = half way there, right? I suppose that's almost 5 months!
I'm not fond of this photos, even after taking a dozen and not liking any of them. Weird light, plus my weird curly hair day - which looks MUCH better straight, I promise. Chopped off a good 4 inches last week. What was I thinking? Meh.

On a better note, the above Owl print from YumiYumi on Etsy is officially mine, size 11" x 14" and I love it! It will be framed in clear glass and hanging in the nursery.... um, soon! Its got all my favorite colors: teal, orangey-red, grey, brown, and green. I think it might go above the dresser/changing area. Its printed on a white background which you obviously cannot see, but check out the link - its gorgeous!

And I AM making progress on my UFOs!!! The Zippy Cars quilt is done, the orange birdie receiving blanket is done... and I'm making progress on the Ohio Sky quilt, and last night just started the orange & grey wonky baby quilt top. I need to START quilting the big vintage log-cabin quilt soon... maybe even tonight. I think I'm going to play it safe and go with straight stitching to quilt it. I cannot see this quilt fitting thru the small opening of my sewing machine, all rolled up, and me being able to move it much for free-motion quilting. I see a big headache.
So - safe is the way I'm going. Nothing wrong with that, eh?

What have you been up to? Any UFOs recently completed???
If not, what are you waiting for?! Off you go!

You're making really good progress on your UFOs! I'm only down for two and it's not going overly fast, so I guess I should really get to it :)

That own print is very, very cute. I love the eyes! Very owlish.

I couldn't wait to get to 20 weeks when I was pregnant. Simply because it meant I was halfway through. Granted, it was the easy half, but it was still halfway. Good luck to you on the second half.

Oooo, those owl's are adorable! I love the idea of framing it. I need to do something with my 8 month old's room still (we moved 6 month's ago). I'll have to check out cute fabric too. You are at the best part of your pregnancy - you feel great, you look great - I loved the middle! Enjoy it!

Halfway there! Woot!

The owls are way too cute... they'd look so cute in the nursery! The mix of colours are great.

I wish I could attack my UFOs but I'm battling the flu and my head's swimming a little too much to sew hehe

Love those owls, might have to get me some!

Wow, half way already!!! That went fast!

I finished 2 of my 8 ufo's and am currently working on two more, but adding new projects to my list as well. It's hard when Christmas is right around the corner.

It's so funny how in your growing belly photos, your dog went from standing to sitting. These photos will be such a great keepsake for your baby, you should frame them all together in a row, with a photo of the new baby at the end. :)

Congratulations on being 21 weeks! You're halfway through your pregnancy, wow!

Sounds like a lot of work quilting it on the machine. I have used a long arm, but not much with my regular machine. Someday I may get brave enough to give it a try and invest in a walking foot, though.

I think you look wonderful! I don't love my profile bump pictures either, but they are nice to have. You'll enjoy looking back on the belly progress! Is this your first? It is my first...
