I recently purchased these for my 'sewing room' that will now become the nursery.
Baby books, blankets, trinkets and who knows what else will soon be adorning these shelves. They're "floating" which I like, and are actually an espresso color, not black. Might go nicely with this crib, I think.
For now, my humble fabric stash rests on them, but may be finding a new home in the basement along with my sewing machine and cutting table. Possibly this weekend!
(We're finally getting new carpet in our condo!!! Yes, I'm excited! Thus, all the moving of rooms.)

Nice shelves. I want to get some for over my stepsons bed. Good choice on the crib! It's the same one we got for Brice, only his is white. I thought that would be more neutral for boy or girl...and it looks really nice on his aqua walls. :)
My sister had those exact shelves and I love that they float. I like the crib... simple yet elegant.
Love the shelves - they will look fantastic. We got the same style crib for our twins! They are still going strong as toddler beds now that the girls are 4.5.
I also have those same shelves for the nursery/guest room!

Cute shelves! I am having the hardest time finding espresso ones for our living room that are a little less modern...I may have to cave into pottery barn and pay more...ugh..
