Here's the almost finished Baby Ripple Afghan for a fun little Crochet-A-Long on Ravelry.com.
I LOVE how it turned out, but I need to figure out what color trim to use on both straight sides of the blanket. I did a row of the orangey-red color up one side, but hated it and promptly nixed it. I think good ol' white might be the answer.... any ideas?

White might be a good call since there's not a whole lot of it. I really want to learn to crochet... but I fear adding another thing to my list because I'll end up not having time to sleep lol!
I think the darker color, red shoudl be better - it will act as the frame of the blanket. Love the color combo though.
I think white will really set off the other colours - lovely blanket x
How funny, everyone thinks differently! I would do green. Not the boldest, but not just plain white. I like the cool tones in the green.
I first thought the green but I do like the idea of the white off setting the colors. Can't wait to see which you pick, it's very pretty so far!
Actually after looking at the blanket again, maybe the gold color would be perfect. The white brings out the red and green on the blanket and the gold acts as a background so it might make a great border as well. Hope that helps. :)
I just found your blog this morning and I wanted to tell you that I really like your work. Thanks for sharing!
Great blanket!! Congrats on the QuiltHome.com link of the week!!! Happy shopping!
Amazing! I want to do one of these some day. :)
Ok...Stephanie, your suggestion worked! Gold trim worked! Cheers to you! I'll be posting the photo today, possibly ;-)
