These 9 blocks will soon turn into a baby quilt top... I'm thinking 3.5" white sashing around each of the blocks to make the purty colors pop a bit more. YES, its going to be quilted with stippling, what else?!
I snatched up the LAST fat quarter of this gorgeous home dec fabric from my favorite fabric shop; Sew to Speak. I've searched for the name or design, and cannot find it anywhere! If anyone knows who the designer or manufacturer is, do let me know. I think this is going to turn into a little clutch bag. And fyi - this photo does not do it justice. The colors are so bright in real life! For those of you in the US - Happy Independence Day! We got to see 2 sets of fireworks, woohooo! And for those of you in other coutries - Happy Weekend! That's reason enought to celebrate!

Beautiful fabric, looking forward to seeing your quilt finished. Happy 4th!
Can't wait to see your finished baby quilt- love the fabric!
Bah! I did the same thing last summer. It is so(sew) frustrating when you can't find more! Good luck. Very cute blankie by the way.
As always, great fabric choices! Yummy! xoxo
Well ALL those fabrics are gorgeous! I see some familiar AB that shows up in my quilt too! Such beautiful designs. And whilst I don't know the name of the deco fabric it will certainly make a gorgeous bag. Can't wait to see both projects completed!
Wow that is going to be a gorgeous quilt!
Mmmm yep definitely white sashing all around! Love the fabrics, very cute layout and baby quilt.
Hello Cristin! Beautiful quilt blocks... can't wait to see the finished product (You work is always lovely!). The home dec fat quarter you bought is by Alexander Henry and it's called "Ringo" :) I'm not positive but we may be able to get more...we'll have to look into that for you. It is a great print. I have it's floral coordinate as my kitchen curtains.

-April, from Sew To Speak.
Thanks for the info April! You're so schmart ;-) I don't know how you keep the names of fabric straight!
And I had a BLAST in S2S last night - even brought another friend to have her choose fabric for a tote bag... she ended up with some lovely AM Horner fabric, so bright and cheery - just like her. I'm sure I'll post pics when I'm done!
