I can't spend every waking (and non-working) minute in front of my sewing machine... can I?
Well, I could, but then all my DVR'd tv shows would go un-watched, which is no good.
Here's what has kept my fingers busy while watching House, 24, Mythbusters, and The Stagers:
Two crochet baby blankets for my gift stash, and now they get to compete with my new favorite gift - baby QUILTS!

we usually eat while watching tv~ so in the mornings we watch news and in the evenings tv shows. we like to watch: house, law and order, closer, fringe, and tscc (which i hope comes back for another season~).

I like to crochet while watching TV also. In fact, I rarely watch DVDs, TV shows, or hulu / YouTube without a crochet hook in hand. :-) However, I cannot sew or quilt and I very much admire those who can.
I'm knitting a difficult hat right now, so when I'm working on it I can't concentrate on the tv.
I like to have old Columbo episodes on the tv in the background while I sew though. It's gotten so bad, that I find it hard to sew without them!
